1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms of Use") govern the specific rules and conditions under which you may access and use the JEJU Commercial Brokers platform at jejubrokers.com and the minkorea.com storefront (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by JEJU Commercial Brokers, headquartered in the Republic of Korea.

These Terms of Use complement and must be read alongside the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

By accessing any page of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

2. Permitted Use of the Platform

You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. Specifically, permitted uses include:

  • Browsing product listings, seller profiles, and blog content

  • Registering an account and maintaining your user profile

  • Placing orders for Korean products as a B2C Consumer

  • Submitting Requests for Quotation (RFQs) as a B2B Client

  • Listing and managing products as a Verified Seller

  • Communicating with brokers, sellers, or buyers through the in-platform messaging system

  • Uploading documents required for KYC verification, deal facilitation, or order fulfillment

  • Submitting product reviews and ratings based on genuine purchase experiences

  • Accessing your order history, deal pipeline, and account dashboard

3. Account Access & Acceptable Use

3.1 Authorized Access Only

You are authorized to access only those areas of the Platform that correspond to your registered role. Attempts to access administrative, seller, or broker areas without the appropriate role assignment are strictly prohibited and may constitute unauthorized computer access under applicable law.

3.2 Single Session Integrity

You agree not to share your login session with any other person. Each session must represent a single authenticated user. Using session sharing tools, proxy authentication, or any method to simulate simultaneous logins is prohibited.

3.3 API and Programmatic Access

Programmatic access to Platform data, including via scripts, bots, or automated tools, is prohibited without prior written authorization from JEJU. Authorized API access in Phase 2 will be governed by a separate API Terms of Use document.

3.4 Device & Browser Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your device and browser are free from malware, keyloggers, and security vulnerabilities that could compromise your Platform session or expose your credentials. JEJU is not liable for account compromises resulting from insecure user devices.

4. Content Use & Restrictions

4.1 Platform Content Ownership

All content on the Platform — including product listings, images, descriptions, blog articles, brand assets, UI design, and compiled data — is the property of JEJU Commercial Brokers or its licensed contributors. You may view and access this content solely for personal, non-commercial use in connection with using the Platform as intended.

4.2 Prohibited Content Uses

You must not, without JEJU's prior written consent:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any Platform content for commercial purposes

  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract product data, pricing, seller information, or user data from the Platform

  • Frame or mirror any part of the Platform on another website or application

  • Use Platform content to build competing services, databases, or directories

  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from Platform content

  • Use product images or descriptions from Verified Sellers outside the context of your legitimate purchase or resale arrangement

4.3 User-Generated Content Standards

Content you submit to the Platform — including product reviews, messages, RFQ descriptions, and uploaded documents — must:

  • Be accurate, truthful, and not misleading

  • Not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or hateful language

  • Not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right

  • Not contain personal data of third parties without their consent

  • Not include unsolicited commercial solicitations or spam

  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

JEJU reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these standards without notice or liability.

5. Platform Features — Specific Use Rules

5.1 Search & Product Discovery

The Platform's full-text search engine is provided to help you find relevant products and sellers. You agree not to use the search functionality to systematically catalogue or export product data, or to probe for pricing patterns for competitive intelligence purposes.

5.2 Shopping Cart & Wishlist

Items added to your cart or wishlist do not constitute a reservation of stock. Product availability and pricing are subject to change until an order is confirmed and payment is processed. JEJU is not liable for price changes or stock depletion occurring between the time you add items to your cart and the time of checkout.

5.3 Product Reviews & Ratings

Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand purchase experiences. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Submitting reviews for products you have not purchased

  • Submitting multiple reviews for the same product

  • Incentivized reviews — receiving payment, discounts, or other benefits in exchange for positive reviews

  • Fake negative reviews targeting competitor sellers

  • Reviews containing personal attacks on sellers, employees, or other users

JEJU reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these rules and may suspend accounts engaged in review manipulation.

5.4 In-Platform Messaging

The messaging system is provided to facilitate communication between B2B Clients and assigned JEJU Brokers, and between Buyers and Sellers where applicable. You agree not to use the messaging system to:

  • Solicit transactions outside the Platform to avoid JEJU commission

  • Send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited advertising

  • Share contact details for the purpose of conducting business outside the Platform

  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users

  • Distribute malicious links or files

JEJU reserves the right to monitor message threads for platform integrity and compliance purposes, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

5.5 Document Upload

Documents uploaded to the Platform for KYC verification, deal facilitation, or order management must be:

  • Authentic and unaltered

  • In an accepted file format (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX — maximum 10MB per file)

  • Free from malware or embedded malicious code

  • Legally yours to upload and share

Uploading fraudulent, falsified, or stolen documents constitutes a serious breach of these Terms of Use and may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.

5.6 RFQ Submissions (B2B)

RFQ submissions must accurately describe your genuine sourcing requirements. Submitting RFQs for the purpose of gathering market intelligence without intent to transact, or submitting false budget figures to manipulate supplier responses, is prohibited.

6. Linking to the Platform

6.1 Permitted Linking

You may link to the homepage of jejubrokers.com or minkorea.com for informational purposes, provided that:

  • The link does not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with JEJU without written consent

  • The link does not frame or embed the Platform within another website

  • The linking website does not contain content that is defamatory, offensive, or illegal

6.2 Prohibited Linking

Deep linking directly to product pages, seller profiles, or any authenticated area of the Platform for commercial purposes — including in price comparison engines, affiliate directories, or competing marketplaces — requires JEJU's prior written consent.

7. Platform Availability & Maintenance

7.1 No Uptime Guarantee

JEJU does not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or without interruption. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated via Platform notices where practicable. Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice.

7.2 Feature Changes

JEJU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or section of the Platform at any time without liability. This includes search filters, seller tiers, deal pipeline stages, and admin panel functionality.

7.3 Browser & Device Compatibility

The Platform is designed for use with modern, up-to-date web browsers. JEJU does not guarantee full functionality on outdated browser versions or unsupported devices. You are responsible for using a compatible browser and maintaining appropriate software updates.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, logistics providers, or external tools. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. JEJU:

  • Does not endorse or take responsibility for any third-party service

  • Is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services

  • Does not control or review the content of linked third-party websites

Your engagement with third-party services is entirely at your own risk.

9. Monitoring & Enforcement

9.1 JEJU's Right to Monitor

JEJU reserves the right to monitor Platform usage, user activity, and content submissions to ensure compliance with these Terms of Use. This monitoring may include reviewing messages, uploads, search patterns, and transaction data.

9.2 Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of these Terms of Use — including fraudulent listings, fake reviews, prohibited messaging, or unauthorized access attempts — please report it to:

JEJU will investigate all reports in good faith and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.

9.3 Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, JEJU may take the following actions:

Moderate Content removal and formal warning
Serious Temporary account suspension (7–30 days)
Severe / Repeated Permanent account termination and possible legal action

JEJU's determination of violation severity is final and at its sole discretion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content, features, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. JEJU makes no warranty — express, implied, or statutory — regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Platform

  • The results you may obtain from using the Platform

  • The fitness of the Platform for any particular purpose

  • The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform

11. Limitation of Liability for Platform Use

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JEJU shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Platform

  • Any errors or omissions in Platform content

  • Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your own negligence

  • Loss of data resulting from Platform downtime or technical failures

  • Reliance on product descriptions, reviews, or other user-generated content

12. Changes to These Terms of Use

JEJU may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be communicated via a Platform notice and, for registered users, via email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
